Ted Carroll,
a media industry private equity principal since 1984, has originated successful
investments in multiple industry sectors, including database companies, broadcasting, professional publishing and newspapers.
He has significant operating experience including turning around troubled portfolio properties and, as such, has operated
and repositioned a newspaper chain and a mass-market book publishing company. Between 1984 and 1997, Ted managed all investment
and divestiture activity at an industry focused private equity investment company. In 1997, he co-founded BG Media Investors
L.P., a $145 million institutionally based focused successor fund. Ted graduated from Georgetown University and is a Certified
Public Accountant.

Earl Macomber,
a media industry manager and private equity principal since 1987, has overseen
all aspects of portfolio company financial matters and has led acquisition and divestiture activities, including sourcing
and negotiating investments, developing transaction structures and sourcing debt and co-investment capital for a wide range
of portfolio companies. In addition, Earl has stepped into various financial and operating roles at portfolio companies when
required. Between 1987 and 1997, Earl was a principal at an industry focused private investment company. Since 1997, he has
been a principal at BG Media Investors L.P. Earl graduated from Widener College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
